Brief story:
At Deuringschlössle in Bregenz, Austria, 28 Laurens Biaxo cast iron radiators complement the character of this historic residence. Each radiator features a special beige fine-textured finish and is paired with Anuova cross-handle valves in antique bronze.
The understated column design of Biaxo suits the building’s period interiors, while the softly textured beige surface gives the radiators a discreet presence. The antique bronze valves add a warm finishing detail, bringing together traditional materials, practical heating and a carefully coordinated appearance.
Set in Bregenz’s historic Upper Town, Deuringschlössle has a core dating back to the 14th or 15th century. Johann Albert von Deuring acquired the property in 1660, and substantial extensions continued until 1702. Its distinctive onion-domed tower incorporates an older corner tower of the town’s fortifications. Together with the surrounding historic buildings, the residence remains a striking feature of the Upper Town’s skyline.
