Brief story:
10 ArtDeco cast iron radiators were supplied for renovation works at Žinkovy Castle in 2016. Finished in RAL 7022, the radiators are paired with ArtDeco valves and matching pipe covers in antique bronze, bringing together dark grey cast iron and warm bronze detailing.
The decorative cast iron radiators complement the character of the historic interiors. Their dark finish gives the ornamental relief a restrained presence, while the antique bronze valves and rosettes provide a coordinated finishing touch at the pipe connections.
Set beside the Labuť pond near Nepomuk in the Czech Republic’s Plzeň Region, Žinkovy Castle is distinguished by its towers, arcaded façades and waterside setting. The building acquired its romantic appearance during a major transformation in 1897–1898, commissioned by Karl Wessely and designed by the Viennese architectural practice Fellner & Helmer. This rebuilding turned the earlier residence into an elaborate summer retreat surrounded by a newly established park.
