Brief story:
There are 125 pcs of classical cast iron radiators Liberty and Romeo including Wooden Wheel thermostatic valves totally installed in this ensemble as part of a major renovation in 2021-2022. The buildings Alsterterrasse 10 und Warburgstraße 8-22 were all completely renovated while preserving their historical character. A key aspect were also renovation of heating system. Laurens cast iron radiators were part of this huge project and now there are blending their classic elegance with modern efficiency. Today, the ensemble Warburgstraße remains a prestigious address, combining residential, office, and educational spaces such as THE NEW INSTITUTE.
The Warburgstraße in Hamburg is a historic street in the Rotherbaum district, known for its elegant residential and commercial buildings from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The architecture reflects a transition from historicist styles to early modernism, featuring ornate facades, large windows, and spacious layouts. The design works on the street werde made form prominent German architect Martin Haller. He was instrumental in the development of Hamburg’s grand townhouses and civic buildings, blending historicist and neo-Renaissance styles with functional urban design.
